If you think you are buying the double-opening glassdoor refrigerator - a feature most competitors offer in this price range - you are not. This model has a fake glass door - which is absolutely useless and just intended to fool consumers. The web photo in the products info page that shows something that resembles an open interior door is actually the access door to the ice bin. Temperature controls are also very imprecise. Shelf layout isnt great and has limited adjustability. I have yet to find the humidity control setting for the produce binsnot sure it exists.

2 issues: 1 the water supply line to the bottom freezer ice cube maker came apart when the refrigerator was moved forward about a foot in order to clean underneath. 2 Trying to get customer service on the phone 15 mins then get someone who actually has any knowledge about their product 45 minutes and comprehend the English language is futile. Finally after another 15 minutes the rep was made to understand that this particular fridge uses an AF004 air filter despite the handbook that comes with my purchased refrigerator says it is an AF120 replacement air filter. Its the only LG fridge that actually uses the AF004 whereas every other LG model and almost every other manufacturer uses AF120. The AF120 filter and the pull-off door at the rear of the fridge wont fit my air filters receptacle that it is supposed to latch to. Adding insult to injury customer service and the official LG parts department claim there is no replacement AF004 filter to buy and that I should just continue to use the old oneforever Yep Lifes Great with LGNOT

Ive had two significant problems in the first month or so. The ice and ice cream half melted. Apparently the unit was off for 12 hours or so. We have a back up generator and were here all the time so the problem was with the unit. Also the touch to turn on the lights behind the glass door no longer works. The full with drawer at the bottom of the refrigerator section is very inconvenient. You must open both doors to get anything in or out of that drawer. A simple shelf would have been much more practical and in fact we just removed the drawer. The delivery of the new unit was some 10 days later than originally promised online. Not sure if this is an LG or Home Depot problem.

Lots more space than the 20 year old it replaced. The drawer at the bottom of the refrigerator section which goes across the two doors is inconvenient. It should be replaced with a simple shelf. The refrigerator has gone off for 10+ hours. The ice half melted as did the ice cream. No indication of why that happened and it only happened once. It was not that power outage as we have a automatic back up generator.

I bought this when my compressor failed in my 9 year old LG refrigerator. The interior is not as well laid out as my old one and the drawers are not settable. I dont like that the water filter is exposed either. Otherwise I am holding judgment until I am sure that it holds up.

We had several episodes of icy layer collecting mainly on the top basket and sides of the freezer the gasket is intact we are always careful to close the freezer well so no neglect there. The technician that LG sent checked and said he couldnt do anything that some other people had the same problem. I turned off the Ice Cube and the Ice Plus feature for now maybe that solve the problem temporarily but I will have to turn them back on eventually. I am debating whether to return it

A great French door refrigerator. The Thin-Q app that works thru Wi-Fi with the refrigerator is great. Lets you know how its working when to change the filters. The owners man is part of the app. Working great so far. One issue to be aware of. The air filter holder was changed and the designated air filter doesnt fit the air filter holder that came with the unit. I called LG snd within s few days they sent me a new air filter and holder. Great customer service .

Great fridge except for the product defect of the air filter housing. After owning for 6 months and need to change the filter I purchased the LG recommended filters. These do not fit in the housing as the housing is defective. I call LG and they sent out a new one but it has the same defect. Contacted the President of LG and this is still not resolved.

Its a nice fridge. Has the extra ice in the freezer as well as in door so we dont run out of ice on a hot day. I do not understand what the glass door on right is for. So guests can see my condiments? Or how dirty my fridge is? If the door opened it would be one thing but it doesnt. Just does not make sense.

We really desire a larger refrigerator with 2 ice makers 1 in door and 1 in freezer. Pls consider larger units. This new refrigerator that was purchased after an emergency breakdown although only 2 cu ft smaller is noticeably smaller than our old unit. Also the center insulation strip between the doors was not properly positioning which required us to adjust the left hand door. Otherwise no issues.

Finally found out it was a known issue and a replacement filter cover was sent. My refrigerator still smells. I bought this fridge at the beginning of the year so far its been working fine but my problem with it is that the filter that came with it is not the one they say. LG seemed to had put a different kind of filter and when I order the one that gies with it doesnt fit its to big... I contacted LG about it and they said it was a manufacturer fault that they was gonna send me a new cover for that filter and till this day I havent received anything... so now I gotta go to lowes and try to fix the situation thru them... but other than that its a good fridge... I like it...

This refrigerator does not consistently keep food cold. We have had to throw away a lot food more than once due to intermittent warmer temps making eggs and other dairy products not safe to eat. LG refuses to stand by this LRFOC2606S model.

Bought this refrigerator 7 months ago. These last few months have been a nightmare. Changed the water filter then it began. Tried to change the air filter only to find out our air filter cover had been made wrong. Now we have to check it regularly because the fridge will turn off on its own. Weve had the fridge for a few weeks now. So far so good. No dedicated cheese or butter drawer otherwise its all good. We read complaints of the compressor was loud. We have NOT experienced that issue. Plenty of space. Ive had counter depth fridges before and this loads like a regular size fridge. Definitely recommend. We bought our fridge in January of this year and it will not stay cold. I have thrown away so much food that has gone bad because of the temperature of our fridge. The repair man whos very nice and help has been to our house 4 times to fix it and we still cant get approval for a new fridge. Clearly we got a lemon.

Noisy Ice Maker

Really like the looks of this refrigerator. Also easy to wipe off and does not leave streaks or smears. The ice maker is very noisy. The freezer drawer did not shut completely one time and food started to thaw. Called for service but no one local to come to our house. Glad we were able to figure out the problem on our own. LG customer service needs improvement

We had the refrigerator installed in March. Keeps everything cold and the bottom icemaker makes Tons of ice. We were told to turn off the icemaker when going on vacation which we did and it took 5 technicians multiple instructions and many videos to get it turned back on. The clear view is useless/unnecessary. The biggest issue I have is the configuration of the internal space. Shelves have only one configuration that is useful in both the doors and the center shelves. The shelf on the left door is extremely thin because of the in door icemaker so there are very few things you can place on that door. The freezer is small due to the bottom icemaker. It was the only 26cu ft counter depth we could find so we didnt have many options.

Honestly when our 22-year-old fridge failed we werent looking for a new one with a see-through door that lights up when you knock on it twice. But this one had all the other features we wanted -- in-door ice bottom freezer -- so we went for it. On the way home I asked my wife Will we really need to see through the door? Well the light-up feature turns out to be a big hit with our grandson who now knocks on every appliance expecting it to light up Fun aside the fridge is spacious great-looking and a pleasure to use. We already had an LG dual-fuel range so we trusted the brand.

Purchased 12/2022 and delivered 2/2023 after we remodeled our kitchen. Installer did not remove all plastic that covers so much of the refrigerator and told us to finish taking it off. We just 7/2023 found another strip in fridge. Worst is that we had to call service within 4 months due to in door ice maker not functioning and dripping water in fridge down the outside of door and on BRAND NEW hardwood floors. Young serviceman couldnt find any real issue and told us he just turned down freezer temp thinking that would resolve issue. About a week later ice maker would squeal and again not make ice and leak. Another call. This time repairman says the ice maker fan is going bad. Waiting for part and THIRD service call in just a few short weeks. Repairman also stated these refrigerators and the ice makers are not very good. Regret buying this refrigerator We wanted counter depth and limited options. Again we regret the purchase due to ice maker issues

We bought this from Costco to replace a smaller fridge. Love all the room in it. Wasnt sure wed like the two ice bins but they are great. Still not sure about the clear glass side. Havent found that we really need to see whats in that side of the fridge without opening it. Still for the price its been a great buy

We love this refrigerator. Plenty of space and options. The problem is there is no air filter replacement. They apparently changed the design and the ones that fit this unit are no longer available. Very problematic.
